Within the final major project, Madison focused on generating hand-painted elements to then be developed digitally, as a balanced approach. The process of monoprinting was utilised to develop striking and textual motifs using large-headed brushes and a variety of painting techniques to layer dyes, on a large scale, in order to achieve a painterly effect. The technique involves colour-matching remazol dyes that are then painted onto a silk screen and printed onto a substrate using reactive stock paste.
